Higred started its business since 1970s and entered the hardware industry specializing in cutting tools in 1995. We focus on outstanding quality and offering excellent solutions. More than 10 years’ experience in hardware tools, we keep on upgrading and providing quality products and service by adopting sophisticated machines as well as production lines such as Germany-made CNC, Japan-made CNC and advanced checking facilities. We have two major product lines, HSS cutting tools and solid carbide cutting tools.

In 2005, we tried to explore international market with B2B websites such as Alibaba.com. At the very beginning, our company just was a free member of this website. Actually, getting orders via B2B is not easier than what we had expected, we got nothing from Alibaba at that time.

Just at that moment we wanted to give up, a call from Alibaba made us review our original attitude to B2B. Next, after a meeting with the salesmen and network engineer of Alibaba, we changed our minds. From their presentation, we knew that all of the B2B webs including Alibaba were only bridges for the buyers and sellers to know each other, the most important thing is the communication of the Alibaba.

Then we became a Gold Supplier of Alibaba, like most of other members, we uploaded the pictures and descriptions of our products, contact info of our company. Two weeks later, we got our first inquiry from Alibaba. Later, we could receive more than 10 pieces of inquiries every month from this website, which became our very important resource of customers.

It’s really amazing to us, by a virtual homepage, we can not only know customers from all over the world, but also do business with them. This is the power of Internet, the power of B2B website, the power of Alibaba, I think. Now, about 15% of our orders are coming from Alibaba, we believe, this figure can be raised in the near future.

Where there is a will, there is a way. Nowadays, the competition in international market is becoming fiercer. With Alibaba, we are self-confident, we can run faster and fly higher.
