Shi Weixian, the founder of Wanli, came from the countryside of Jinjiang, Fujian, and he started his business in Xiamen in 1985. At that time, Xiamen was only a small open city and it was also more difficult to do business than nowaday. Due to lack of resource, unopened market and information block, it made him hard to seize the opportunity there. But Mr.Shi started his business from zero, gathering experience and looking for the chances by his sincerity and diligence.

For 10 year’s experience, Mr.shi predicts the future development tendency of auto market in China, so he sets up Wanli Rubber&Plastic Products Factory to produce the extruded sealing strip of auto’s window which was the single product he produced. He has sold his products in many large cities in China to extend the business, because there were few competitive forces of this industry in China. After 2000, the high standard of products’ quality and category, the competitive market, little achievements and also his old age made him change his mind, he asked his son, Shi Weichao, to take charge of the company, and hoped his son can make a breakthrough.

By his young age, intelligence and innovative spirit, Mr.Shi developed lots of new products which are needed for the market. At first, he moved his company from rural places to urban city and then became a member of Alibaba to show the company’s products and to find the clients by the Internet. After that, there was a new development of Wanli, and it also won a high reputation in south Fujian by good credibility and stable quality of products.

In cooperation with several trading companies, Mr.Shi found that there were lots of chances to extend his business in the international market. In 2005, he registered as a Alibaba’s China Supplier to sell his products in the international market. After 3-4 year’s efforts, the overseas sales volume is up to one million US dollar from several thousand US dollar per year and the category of products is up to two hundred.

In April of 2009, Wanli Rubber&Plastic Products Factory had moved to Guankou Industrial Zone, Xiamen. It owns a workshop covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters, four standard factories and one office building. We wish we will make new achievements and reach to a higher level in the future.
