Story 1:

In 2003, through Alibaba.com, we got an inquiry of PMT from a Greek customer. Few people knew what’s PMT, but I knew it. It is Photo Multiplier Tube, normally used in scientific instrument. I had ever exported this product to a very famous scientific technology company in USA in 2000. So I replied to this Greek customer quickly and got the detailed specification of the PMT he wanted. They wanted this PMT to produce a physics lab instrument for the test of PLANK constant. If you have Physics background, you will know what’s PLANK constant. But the inquired model of PMT was too old, which was produced in 70s of last century. Nobody still produce this tube again in the worldwide. It happened that our associated plant still served a line for military and scientific study use. In the end we successfully convinced our plant to restore the production line for this old model of PMT to meet demand of our Greek customer. Good relation was established between Greek customer and Oswell in this progress.

Story 2:

Oswell Group limited is a company who is capable of supplying a chain of products to customer from meter part material to meter to meter system. In June of 2008, I made a travel to Russia and visited a big Russian group company. They have a big meter plant in Moscow. The president of the group company received me and held a big welcome dinner party for me. The president said: We purchased many products from many Chinese companies every year. Whether they are big or small, we always will meet this or that troubles with them. Only with Oswell, we never have any trouble. Oswell is a much different Chinese company. We’d like to do long cooperation with your company. Oswell is the partner supplier of this Russian customer now. By adopting some creative solution and high quality parts from us, their meter size became much more smaller and performance much better than before but cost reduced more than 20%. Now their products became very attractive and competitive in the Russian market. They are the second biggest meter plant in Russia last year. Even encountered the globle finance crisis, their business still keep fast increasing this year. General manager of the Russian customer told me last month, they planed to purchase products from Oswell more than 10millions dollars in 2009.

Story 3:

Two years ago, an American customer came to Oswell with its latest design of pet water dispenser. This design had been patented in USA and he would like us to be the OEM manufacturer. After having reviewed the program, I thought the design was not reliable and suggested some improvement to their design. At that time, the American professor was very surprised at my conclusion. He said: "I have talked with many Chinese manufacturers. They only follow what I say. You're the only Chinese who questioned my design. I like your thinking very much. And it’s my pleasure to have such a technical discussion with you. However, I am sorry but our current design had been approved by the company and its investor. We can not change the design now." My answer was: "If I think that the design is not reliable, I have to say no even if you like to make orders to us. "

In March 2009, this customer came back to Oswell again. He complained his unfortunate experience in the past two years. According to the design refused by Oswell, another Chinese company set tools and produced the pet water dispensers for them. Unfortunately, the faulty design and the poor product quality resulted to the failure rate as high as 40%. The sales profit was much less than the cost of repairing, returning and refunding. The worse was a litigation case because the leakage of dispenser destroyed user’s floor. They not only had to refund for the bad machine but also had to repair customer’s house. This poor customer decided to restart the cooperation with Oswell listening to our suggestion. Only in 2 months, we helped them with the new design and added the intelligent control by the software programming. We also worked out a workable prototype for them last month. After our customer showed the sample dispenser in some events, lots of their clients like it very much. And Wal-Mart showed big interest in this product, too.

My conclusion is that technology has no border. China’s technology may not be backward; the United States’ may not be advanced. Good technology and high-quality manufacturing are both important to make the excellent products. In the combination of technology and manufacturing quality, our idea is advanced. Customer is not always correct. Insist what you think right. Through the above three stories, you may see, who is Oswell, what Oswell did in the past, why many customers like to cooperate with Oswell.
