Established in 1997, Yantai Kangwei Die-Casting Moulds Co., Ltd. is a professional die-casting manufacturer of aluminum alloy fittings and zinc alloy fittings. Our production capacity exceeds 200 metric tons monthly, and we have the ability to design and manufacture die casting molds, process machinery parts and produce various surface treatments. Our die-casting fittings are mainly used for industrial and household decoration, including the base of computer hard drives, shells of locks, machinery, electric appliances, vehicle spare parts, decorative fences and clothes racks. Most of our products are exported to Korea, France, Japan and Australia, where they have a high reputation among customers.

Everything has a development process, and so does our company. At the beginning, we didn't know a lot about dealing with foreign customers, so we found middleman to help us. However, the middlemen often didn't understand the jargon and technical details of our trade. That's when we decided to try internationally trade ourselves.

One of our managers suggested we use Alibaba.com. In 2006, we joined as a Gold Supplier, and immediately we started getting orders from around the world. We received inquiries from the US, Canada, Spain, Finland and Switzerland, among many other places. A lot of these customers now have a good relationship with us, and it has been a pleasure working them.

Functions and services I find useful

The online showroom has done wonders for us. Being able to display our products online means that buyers can find us easily. Equally helpful is the opposite of our showroom, which is the Buying Leads. We regularly check the 'For Sellers' section of Alibaba.com to see if buyers are looking for products that we supply, and if we find such a buying request, we send them details of our products.

Thanks to the Alibaba.com, we now have a platform on which to do business with customers from around the world, as well as to learn about improving our knowledge of international trade!
