I learned about Alibaba.com almost 2 years ago while searching the net for potential business contacts. I became a Premium member in 2006.

Our three largest clients now were found through Alibaba.com. We were contacted by all three within a year of becoming a member, so becoming a Premium member paid off very quickly. Now, we receive around 5 quality inquiries per week and the inquiries keep coming in.
Of course, in order to attract more customers, we display our Products online and make sure that they are updated at least every 2 weeks. We also look for appropriate Buying Leads and send offers to Buyers. If we want to learn more about our customers, we visit their websites. We find out what type of products they carry so we know what other products we can offer them.
Trade Alert reduces the length of time I spend browsing queries or Buying Leads. The discussion forums in the Community Channel are also very helpful. Thanks to the discussion there, I found out about a bogus company and saved myself a lot of hassle!
Furthermore, I check my Alibaba.com mailbox everyday. Time is very important to both our clients and us, so I make sure that all inquiries are replied to promptly. I believe an important part of providing quality service to clients is prompt action on their inquiries. By Using TradeManager, I can talk with clients instantly and settle any problem in just a couple of minutes.
