BEIJING, July 23 - China's Inner Mongolia region launched a state reserve auction of soybeans on Thursday, but failed to attract any bids, industry website www.grainmarket.com.cn said. Inner Mongolia put 99,300 tonnes of soybeans on sale.
A total of 500,000 tonnes of soybeans are on offer on Thursday, part of a record 6 million tonnes of state stocks China has amassed that had fuelled months of near-record imports.
