Saudia Cargo, Fast Forward Cargo Team Up for West Africa Service

Published: 04 Sep 2013 18:30:38 PST

Saudi Airlines Cargo has renewed its contract with Fast Forward Cargo and will team up with them to increase air cargo frequencies to West Africa from Dubai World Center in the United Arab Emirates.

The partnership will operate the equivalent of 175 combined B747 flights between the UAE and West Africa, connecting mainly to Lagos, Nigeria, and N’Djamena, Chad, via Saudia Cargo’s hubs in Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

“The weekly commitment from Fast Forward is an important client on our two weekly freighter flights to N’Djamena and a large contributor to our daily freighter flights to Lagos,” said Peter Scholten, vice president of commercial at Saudia Cargo, in a written statement.

Saudia Cargo last month announced an increase in flights between Nairobi and Amsterdam.
